Chris Vincent was born 15/5/1972 and died 22/02/2003 at the age of 30. In the last few years of his life he lived in colchester and sadly he died there too.
He left behind his mum, Hilary, dad, Keith, 2 brothers Wayne and Lee and his sister, Beckey. He left us without the chance to say goodbye as a result of being the victim of a speeding motorist, sadly his younger brother, Lee watched him die.
Chris was a man that you only needed to meet once to remember for a lifetime. His smile and his giggle brightened up everyday and he is missed so desperately.
Whilst he was not an angel, he was a loving, caring person who would be loyal to you til the very end. This world is a poorer place for his not being here but it would have been poorer still had he not been here at all.
Chris had a wicked sense of humour which would always make you laugh but also had a very sensitive side to him that made him so endearing. He was our lovable rogue. He was never short of female attention and he revelled in it. We are just grateful that he crammed what he did into his life. Little did we know how short it would be.
The reason Angels is playing is because this was my brothers favourite song. I have a memory of him in a pub in Colchester, his arm slung around my shoulder and him singing his heart out to it! It was a great day that day. He said that day that he wanted it played at his funeral, at the time I thought nothing of it, but when he died it was the one thing we knew he wanted so we played this. It took sometime to listen to it again but now whenever I hear it, it makes me smile and makes me so proud to be his sister x
